Reese loves getting to play alongside friends and teammates who share her passion for the game. Being surrounded by hardworking teammates pushes her to be her best, both mentally and physically. She genuinely enjoys watching others succeed and is always one of their biggest supporters, cheering them on every step of the way.
Gradie Appling is one of my school teammates and someone I really look up to. I made varsity in the 8th grade while she was a sophomore, and I immediately thought, If I can follow in her footsteps, I’ll have a chance to make it to a great college to play ball.Gradie is not only a talented athlete but also an amazing teammate. Even during tough times, she keeps a positive attitude, always smiling and working hard to improve. Gradie is committed to playing softball at LSU. She will do big things!
Reese played a key role in leading Tattnall Square Academy to the 2024 GISA AAAA Georgia State Championship. In the championship game, she delivered a clutch grand slam, giving her team the lead and securing their title victory. Reese said she cried running the bases and that was the best moment of her softball career thus far. Her teammates, coaches and fans reactions were unforgettable. She’s played 100’s of games with travel ball and that game was the proudest moment.
