His Goalie Coach Nathan Grobins. He has been there from the beginning, guides him in decisions on and off the ice. He's honest, tells Rowan exactly how it is- good or bad. His Dad also inspires him with his work ethic. Never giving up and never giving in.
My proudest moment is every time someone asks who is your kid? I get to point to him and say that one, the goalie. The weirdo who takes pucks to the face and laughs because he just denied a skaters moment. The last line of defense, the one that works on his mental game more than physical, the one whose mistakes are there for everyone to see and he still skates off the ice with his head held high.
