What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Sophia loves most about softball is the joy of playing with her team and the bonds they share. The game has challenged her both mentally and physically, but she’s faced every obstacle with determination and heart. Through tough losses, and moments of doubt, her faith has been her foundation, giving her strength to persevere and keep growing. Sophia plays not just to win, but to honor the gifts she’s been given and that’s what makes her truly special.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Sophia is inspired by her parents, who show her the value of hard work, faith, and humility every day. On the field, she looks up to her coach and older teammates who lead with integrity and passion. Their guidance, support, and belief in her have pushed her to be her best both as a player and as a person.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in Sophia’s athletic journey was watching her push through the challenges of a learning disability while excelling on the field. She’s proven that hard work, determination, and faith can overcome any obstacle. Her focus, leadership, and positive spirit during a big game showed just how strong and capable she truly is both as an athlete and as a person.
