It's exhilarating to ride at various hills and adapt his skills to suit each one. Snowboarding is fun, and it's inclusive so anyone can try it... it's what Northern Canadian winters are all about!!
Marcus Kleveland and Red Gerard inspire Dexen because they compete in events he aspires to compete in one day. At first when snowboarding was hard to learn, Dexen's dad inspired him to not give up, and they've evolved on the hill and in the park together since Dexen was 9.
It's hard to pinpoint just one moment, but I think it would have to be when he perseveres and dedicates himself to conquering hard tricks that he hadn't been able to do, like when he worked hard to learn how to do a tame dog...and now, he rocks it with steez!
