What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

"What I love about playing sports is the fact that there's always room for improvement, which always pushes me to become the best version of myself. The feeling before a big game, the joy you get from winning, and the extra drive I gain from losing, all add up to equal the pure love and passion that I have for the sports that I play."

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

"Inspiration is a huge key to my dedication and motivation. Something that truly inspires me on and off the field is my parents. Not just because they cook meals and take me to school, but because they work each and every day to make the life we live the best it could possibly be. Along with that, also comes my journey. Some people ignore failure, but it really inspires me to work harder to try to get 1% better every day to the point where failure will not be because of my lack of hard work."

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Out of the multiple sports Nicholas competes in, he always maintains a positive attitude and NEVER QUITS! If I had to pick one "proudest moment", it would have to be when he was a part of our small island's history!! Being a part of the first ever team from Key West, Florida to win 1st place in the State, 1st place in the Southeast Region, and playing in the Babe Ruth World Series, it was a memory that I will never forget! Playing teams from Canada, Aruba, Mexico, and even Australia!!
