What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWith over 2.5 years of experience she enjoys using her skills when she competes. Strength and technique are needed to dominate the opponent. To finish the match by scoring the highest points or ending it sooner with a submission. Being consistent is the key in becoming 1% better.
Her coach and parents have a positive impact on and off the mats. Always encouraging her to keep pushing forward even when things get rough. Winning feels great but losing makes her want to learn from the errors to improve as an athlete
Winning by submission is always great. But by far when she is down points at a tournament and explodes to come back up to win. She doesn’t give up and continues to keep pushing forward. So far she has attended over 18 tournaments just this year winning over 40 of her matches. Overall I am proud of her and how strong she has became physically & mentally.
