Taekwondo is one of the hardest sports; you need strength, stamina, flexibility, speed, power, and agility to perform well. However, this still doesn’t guarantee wins. You must battle others in the ring with strategy and a plan, utilizing the mind! It’s the ultimate athletic game!
Per Benjamin, dad inspires him to fight! Dad was a previous athlete and now is his coach. Because of Dad’s experience and knowledge, Benjamin is able to overcome numerous obstacles not just physically but mentally as well! He gives Benjamin confidence and a sense of invulnerability! Outside the ring, Dad is a law enforcement officer dealing with long hours and stress, but he always makes time to train and support us.
Benjamin fought at the 2025 US National Championships in Ontario, California against a stacked junior male division! He understood the assignment to strategize and dominate on the mat! When the match started, he stayed relaxed, didn’t get intimidated, and out kicked his veteran opponents all the way to a Gold Medal. On the sidelines, everyone cheered and was in awe, because they knew a star was born!
