Oliver is my 9 year old grandson. He has been involved in basketball, hockey, and soccer..he has been chosen to play in Italy this summer.!

I believe Oliver's inspiration is the is largely due to his father's support. His Dad is an accomplished athlete and has shared his accomplishments. Whether it is through coaching or as a spectator Oliver admires his father and loves making him proud..as he al ways does
Recently Oliver was chosen to be team captain. He was on Cloud 9. At the end of the game I, his grandmother congratulated him. He thanked me but explained he had passed the honour to another player he felt deserved it more and a better choice for the team. I held back a tear as I realized he had matured and realized the true meaning of being a good sport!
