A'siyah loves the crowd and engery the most! She says when she hears them cheering for her it motivates her to go out there and go crazy lol. She loves the fact she has a safe space to be free! A'siyah feels on top of the world when she's on the field, nomatter of she's having a bad day, rough day or just simple good day," she uses sports as her outlet to express every emotion that coming her way. It gives her control and pushes her to be great. Her dream is to be a pro player!
Me! She said I inspire her. I encourage her to stay focus and to always do her best and to never allow anyone to tell her what she can't do and never let her autoimmune disease stop her being great. I inspire her to not only push herself," but to encourage others who may also be battling an autoimmune disease to go for the stars. I told her as long as God is 1st she can't lose. We got this. When she was playing in the championship game and her leg gave up on her. I ran out to her as they were carrying her off the court, I went into mom nurse mode. I was ready to take her home and she said mom if I go home we will lose, im captain and I can't let my team down mom they worked so hard to get here. I said A'siyah I don't want you back out there I only have one of you, and she said mom I got this I can do it. I grabbed and hugged her and I said okay let's go get them. We won!
