Papaw is the one that got me into baseball and we played many days with a foam bat and ball in his basement and around the house. I started with a glove my bigger sister used for softball. One day he asked if I was interested in playing and I said yes, so he signed me up. Dad supports off the field with equipment and love, I love it when he can make my games. Mom is also an off the field supporter who gets me to all of my games, I love her too. Grandma helps me also.
When she first started baseball and we would get to the fields we would hear the other team saying “ oh no, it’s Lili’s team”. Not that it was the Giants or Nats, but Lili’s team. That was a memorable moment for all of us. Great memories!!!
