I love playing sports because they bring out the best in me. Whether I’m on the field or the court, I feel confident, focused, and free. Sports push me to work hard, stay disciplined, and keep growing—not just physically, but mentally too. I’ve made friends, learned teamwork, and found a healthy way to handle stress. Competing and improving gives me a sense of purpose and joy. Win or lose, playing sports reminds me that I’m strong, capable, and always moving forward.
My nana inspired me on and off the field—her love still drives me to make her proud. Even after she passed, her strength stays with me. My mom has never missed a practice or game, always cheering me on and supporting me no matter what. Their belief in me keeps me going.
My proudest moment as a mother is simply watching Aarian grow and improve each year. He’s played basketball since he could walk and has built a deep love for football over the past 7 years. He’s always eager to learn, determined, and never gives up. When he sets his mind to something, he gets it done.
