Receive Text UpdatesWhat I love best about basketball is that it’s a team sport—you need all five players working together to win. It’s not just about one person. We learn how to trust each other, communicate, and never give up. It teaches me life lessons like working hard, staying focused, and helping others. Plus, it’s fun to play with my friends and compete!
Kobe inspired me on the court because of his strong work ethic and mindset—he’s the greatest. Off the court, my mom is my hero. She works hard every day, never gives up, and always shows up for me. They both taught me to give my best in everything I do.
One of my proudest moments as his mom was watching how humble he remained, even when he didn’t win. He cheered for his teammates with a genuine heart. After getting no awards his first year at camp, he set goals, worked harder, and returned the next year to earn MVP and four other awards. His resilience, humility, and drive to grow without needing the spotlight truly inspire me.
