Receive Text UpdatesHaji loves baseball because it’s a team sport where everyone gets to shine. He values the unity, shared roles, and friendships it builds. Competing with and against friends has taught him respect and sportsmanship. His hero is Shohei Ohtani, Haji studies his every move, inspired by how Shohei’s talent spoke louder than words. For Haji, being different isn’t a setback,it’s a strength.
Haji finds inspiration from many people. He admires Shohei Ohtani’s work ethic and how his talent spoke before language. He looks up to Hakeem Olajuwon for staying true to his faith while reaching the top. Michael Jordan inspires him to push through setbacks. And Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. shows him the power of courage and using your voice for truth. Each one teaches Haji that greatness comes from staying true, working hard, and never giving up.
My proudest moments aren't just big wins or great plays. I'm most proud seeing Haji grow from wanting the spotlight to sharing it. He cheers loudest for teammates' big moments and stays positive, even when the game gets tough. Handing off the ball and still encouraging others shows his true character. It’s not just about talent, it’s his humility, leadership, and heart that make me proudest as a parent.
