What Addalye loves most about gymnastics is the ability to do what makes her happy. She loves the competition both individually and also as a team. She loves the desire to constantly learn and make corrections that make her gymnastics better. She loves to perform and show a different side of herself when she can express who she is through her dedication, grit, determination and self discipline in the sport she has been blessed to be gifted in.
Its easy to be inspired by the most talented gymnasts. But, people who inspire her the most are those gymnast who as a whole have everything. Including kindness, a moral compass, talent, dedication and overall have to work for what they have on good days and bad. She is driven to be someone more than just gymnastics, but also tries to represent her country and her talent with grace and gratitude. She is humble and always looks to find ways to better herself and improve.
The moment in Addalye's journey that has made us the most proud was when she qualified to be a Junior Elite. A dream of her's since she has been a little girl. That moment changed everything for Addalye this year. We came from moving across the country, following our gut to help her succeed in her dreams to having her compete Jr. Elite to making the USA National Team. Since making the National Team Addalye has competed in three International Assignments in one year representing Team USA.
