Receive Text UpdatesAddie loves being part of a team and the strong friendships that come with it. Competing alongside her teammates/ cousin brings her joy, motivation, and a sense of belonging. After beating cancer, every practice and game feels like a celebration of strength, resilience, and the things she loves most—teamwork, competition, and never giving up.
Addie is inspired by her parents, who both played multiple sports and teaches her the value of hard work, commitment, and having fun while competing. She also looks up to her cousins, who have helped shape her as an athlete. Playing with them taught her not only skills, but also how to be competitive and to keep working hard to get better like they do.
One of the proudest moments in Addie’s athletic career was stepping back onto the field (soon other sports) after beating cancer after having 36 rounds of radiation to her foot. She played through pain and determination this year. It was more than just returning to the game—it was a reminder of everything she had fought through and overcome. Competing again with her teammates made her feel strong, proud, and more determined than ever to give her best in everything she does.
