What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Building lifelong friendships, the love and support that they share for each other. The feeling of accomplishment when she steps off stage and the fact that she conquers her anxiety and self doubts every time she dances. Growing as a dancer, taking care of, and nourishing her body and her mind, pushing herself when things get tough, and being a valued member of an amazing team. Her growth as a dancer since age 3.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her coaches, Miss Jeannie and Miss Melanie, they pour so much love and support into their dancers and you can see it in her confidence, grace and style. She also looks up to our senior dancers, they are great role models and work closely with the younger dancers. P!nk, for her music, her performances, her personality, her family life, her values, and the love and light that she brings to the world.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching her conquer her anxiety and fears and hit that stage with confidence, grace, and a smile on her face is always the proudest moment for us! Her dedication to ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, tap, and hip hop. Chosen soloist by her coaches for the 2025 year end showcase. Voted Youth of the Year by residents for her amazing fundraising efforts.
