What I love most about playing softball is the energy, the competition, and the sisterhood. I love the feeling of being on the field with my team, fighting for every play, and knowing we have each other’s backs. Softball pushes me to grow—not just as an athlete, but as a person. Whether it’s making a diving catch in center or finding a way to help my team offensively, I love the challenge and the moments that bring us together.
On the field, I’m inspired by Kendra Falby, the centerfielder from UF. I love how she plays with so much energy, speed, and confidence. Watching how she covers ground and makes things happen offensively as a lefty slapper really motivates me to level up my game. Off the field, my biggest inspiration is my mom. She’s always been my biggest supporter and has taught me the value of hard work, staying humble, and believing in myself no matter what.
⸻ One of the proudest moments in my athletic career was when I helped my team rally with two outs and scored the first run in a big tournament game. It reminded me how important every play is, no matter how small, and how my speed and mindset can shift the momentum. That moment showed me how much I’ve grown and how I can impact my team in big situations.
