What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Aidan loves the technical complexity in competing in International Skeet. It’s an Olympic sport so it draws the best from around the world. The lower gun mount, random delays and special ammunition adds several layers of difficulty along with it’s strict rules that is sanctioned by ISSF (International Shooting Sports Federation). He is drawn to this sport because it challenges his physical agility and mental acuity. His dream is to compete in the Olympic Games.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Aidan is deeply inspired by his coach Philip Jungman. He's an Olympian who represented USA in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Philip believes in Aidan and pushes him to grow on the range and is always available for advice. Off the field, Aidan looks up to his pastors as they remind him to keep God at the center of his life. Aidan is also inspired by his parents, previous coaches and older friends. They guide him through life with wisdom, support and lessons that help shape the young man he is becoming.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Aidan's achievement of shooting 25 out of 25 clays in competition was a proud moment for us. Hitting a perfect score for the first time is a significant milestone in shotgun sports. It was a heartfelt moment because we know his talent and dedication. We’ve watched him put in countless hours of practice on and off the range perfecting his technique and visualizing his process. This accomplishment was a huge confidence booster for Aidan. Its a step closer on earning a spot in USA Jr National Team
