Thank you for generously supporting Aiden in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
He likes learning new things every practice. He also loves being able to play with all of his friends and bonding with the sport both mentally and physically.
Aiden is always inspired by his coaches, but the person who inspires him the most is his great grandfather who loves and played a variety of sports growing up. Aiden shares a special bond with his great grandfather because of this. He has tried to come to as many games as he can at 94 years old. Aiden loves his great grandfather always being there for support. If it wasn’t for him he wouldn’t be the same athlete he is today.
Aiden always makes me proud when I watch him on the field, court or dance floor because he works so hard and is so encouraging and supportive of his teammates. I think this year has stuck out to me when he was really hoping to make the majors baseball team and didn’t make the cut. He was disappointed, but instead of sulking he really stepped up as a leader for his triple a team. He cheered them on, taught some of the newcomers a thing or two and really motivated them to be a great team.
