What I love most about playing softball is the constant challenge—every pitch and play keeps you on your toes and forces your feet into motion. I thrive on encouraging teammates, lifting each other up after mistakes and celebrating wins together. I refuse to let one play define me—I reset instantly and step up even stronger. Plus, the friendships? Amazing. Finding people who love and support me just for being me—that’s the real heart of the game.
Maya Brady and Megan Grant inspire me through their excellence and integrity. Maya, a 2023 & 2024 Pac‑12 Player of the Year and three‑time NFCA First‑Team All‑American, ranks second in UCLA home runs—her confidence and dedication shine on Team USA and pro stages. Megan set the Big Ten single‑season HR record with 26 in 2025, earned 2025 NFCA First‑Team All‑American honors, and is joining UCLA women’s basketball—her versatility, commitment, and leadership motivate me daily.
This moment right now is the culmination of seasons of hard work, determination, and resilience. She has faced adversity head-on and proven—both to herself and to others—that there’s nothing she can’t accomplish when she sets her mind to it, on or off the field. She is brave in the face of challenge, encouraging to those around her, and carries her success with humility. Her strength and character haven’t just inspired us as her parents—they’ve left a mark on everyone she meets.
