What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Akil loves the team aspect of football, being a part of the team and working together, he likes to feel like he's contributing and giving his all. He has great sportsmanship and motivates his team in winning and losing moments.


Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Akil is really inspired by Saquon Barkley, Xavier Worthy and Tyrese Haliburton. He strives to one of the greatest if not the greatest.


What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When he doesn't give up, Akil has had to play both sides of the football for the whole game at times when the team was short of players and he did not complain or give up. He's resilient and had a passion for football and it shows all over him.
