Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Alan’s dad inspired him to love soccer not just as a game, but as a way of life. From a young age, he taught Alan the importance of hard work, teamwork, and passion—both on and off the field. Whether they were practicing in the backyard or watching matches together, his dad used every moment to show how soccer could build character and teach life lessons. What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of Alan’s proudest moments playing soccer was during a tough game when his team was losing badly. Morale was low, and many of his teammates had started to give up. Seeing their heads drop, Alan stepped up as a leader. He gathered the team and told them, “It doesn’t matter if we win or lose—what matters is that we play together and give it everything we have. We’re a team, and teams don’t quit.” His words sparked something in his teammates. They returned to the field with renewed energy.
