This sport inspires me to be a disciplined baseball player, and that inspires me every day. I love cheering on my teammates and keeping the team's vibe positive so everything goes well. That's why I enjoy this sport.
On the field, I'm inspired by my dad, my uncle, and my grandfather, who have played baseball and softball almost their entire lives and have been very good players. Off the field, I'm inspired by the support of my family—my mother, father, sister, grandparents, and uncles—because their encouragement and positive energy help me give my best on the field. If I fail in one at-bat, they give me the courage and strength to give my best the next time.
When I'm at bat and I hear my teammates and family tell me, "Come on, you can do it," and boom, I hit a home run and drive in a run to win or take us ahead in the game. That makes me feel proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
