Thank you for generously supporting Alan in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
He loves the challenge of competing with peers and making himself the best athlete he can be in his divisions. On the gymnastics acro team, as a regional champion, he strives to improve his flexibility and skills. In taekwondo he is a multi year national champion training with some of the best instructors and Olympic medalists. Finally in soccer he wants to play in the FIFA World Cup. His team has won many titles with the leadership of former national level players.
Alan is inspired by many things and people in the respective fields. With the unyielding support of his family, Alan is able to focus on the motivation, inspiration and endless dedication of his Masters and coaches to teach him the skills needed to reach his goals.
There are so many things that fall under this category. Recently, Alan was accepted into the AAU taekwondo varsity program. This was possible because he has completed all educational requirements to begin high school at 10 yrs old. He followed up the honor of being the youngest ever to accomplish this by once again becoming a national champion earning 9 medals. His indomitable spirit is what makes us the proudest, he never gives up. He pushes through pain and struggles till the end.
