Alanah loves the bond she shares with her horses—the trust, teamwork, and silent communication that makes every ride special. Riding gives her a sense of freedom, purpose, and confidence. It’s where she feels most herself and finds both peace and challenge. Whether in the show ring or at the barn, it’s the connection, growth, and pure joy of the sport that keeps her passionate and committed every single day.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Olympian Ali Brock has been a powerful mentor to Alanah, offering encouragement and advice before big shows. Her pep talks and expert guidance help Alanah stay focused, confident, and grounded in high-pressure moments. Ali’s wisdom, calm presence, and belief in Alanah’s ability have been instrumental in her success—especially heading into major competitions like Nationals, where her words truly helped Alanah rise to the occasion.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was when Alanah’s horse refused to jump, and she selflessly chose to give up her jumping dream to focus solely on dressage—for the happiness of her horse. Her love and patience were unwavering. They grew together through trust and hard work, and a year later, they achieved the ultimate reward: becoming National Champions. That moment proved her heart, resilience, and the depth of her bond with her horse.
