You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Alaya loves playing sports because it makes her feel strong and confident. Running track helps her push past limits, stay healthy, and stay focused. Sports has taught her discipline, teamwork, and resilience. She encourages other young athletes to work hard and believe in themselves.
Alaya is inspired by her dad to work hard on and off the field because he leads by example with dedication, discipline, and a never-give-up attitude. She’s watched him overcome challenges and stay committed to his goals, which motivates her to push herself every day. His support and belief in her gives her strength, and his work ethic reminds her that success comes from effort, not luck. Alaya wants to make him proud by giving her best in everything she does.
Our proudest moment in Alaya’s athlete journey was when she appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and bravely sat on stage alone for her interview. At just 6 years old, she had the courage to speak confidently about herself, her love for sports, and her goals. Watching her share her story with such poise and joy in front of a national audience was unforgettable. It showed not just her talent, but her strength, confidence, and bright future both on and off the track.
