What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Albert loves most about playing sports is being able to exercise while making new friends.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His dad and grandpa (Albert King Jr & Sr) inspire him daily by sharing their love of sports and culture. From a young age, they introduced him to basketball, golf, and lacrosse, teaching him the value of teamwork and discipline. Both are also Fancy Dancers, guiding him in powwow traditions and showing him the importance of staying connected to his Oneida/Lakota/Ho-chunk/Menominee heritage. Their support on and off the field has shaped him into a strong, proud, and motivated young athlete.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One proud moment is seeing my shy, kind-hearted son light up with confidence in the powwow arena as a Junior Boys Fancy dancer. Watching him express himself through dance is powerful. This year, he also played on his first lacrosse team—he stepped up, worked hard, and played with heart. Watching him grow, take pride in his culture, and shine through movement has been truly inspiring.
