She loves the atmosphere of a team. Everyone coming together to win. She is a great team player and sets all her teammates up to succeed while playing. To her, it's all about the team coming together to achieve the end result of winning.
She is a freshman in high school now and started basketball when she was in 5th grade. Her first basketball coach inspired her, and still does, to be great at whatever she does. She's played Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, and just loves sports. Basketball is her main sport that was inspired by Officer Terazas, whom volunteered at her school to coach girls basketball. She has learned so much about the sport from him and still to this day takes his advice when she needs it.
Even though there are so many, the one that stands out is time she set up one of her teammates to score the final shot to win the championship in 5th grade. They went undefeated the whole season and won the final games and the championship.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
