Alexa’s inspiration comes from her sisters and teammates. They have both played at high levels in a variety of sports, they work hard, are great teammates and leaders who truly love the sports they play. Between them and some of her high level teammates she is inspired to keep on setting goals and working hard to achieve them.
There are many to choose from, but I’d have to say I’m proud of her ability to overcome injury, to overcome challenging situations that could have ruined her love for the game, to stay focused on working hard for her goals despite the what happens around her. I’m most proud to hear coaches and teammates say how much she smiles and loves the game, how her passion to play and have fun inspires others to do the same.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
