Join the CompetitionAlex’s love for basketball stems from the quality time that the mutual love for the sport allows him to spend together with me. From early on in his childhood Alex loved joining me for game nights to watch and analyze games. He had the biggest smile on his face when he made his first hoop in our back yard under my guidance. He bases his improvements on how he plays with me, pointing out what he has gotten better at every time we play together.
Alex derives most of his inspiration from his idol Jason Tatum. Not only is he a great basketball player, who is consistent in his performance, but he is also a good person who has a foundation built around inspiring and uplifting children in the community. Alex loves how down to earth he is as a person, and looks up to his immense talent on the basketball court.
How much he practices on his own and takes initiative to work harder on his weaknesses and accomplish his goals. His proudest moments were also some of the hardest times for Alex. When he first got his knee injury and was told that he couldn’t play until he healed.. and was told of the possibility that he would never fully heal, he realized how much basketball had become a part of his identity.
