What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the competition. He loves to learn and get better from his mistakes that allowed him to become the only freshman in his school HISTORY to run 22 in the 200 and 51 in the 400.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He is inspired by figures like Noah Lyles, Usain Bolt, and Leshawn Merritt. Watching them has exposed him to learn more deeper, race strategy, stride, training and everything that comes either sprinting.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

He makes me feel proud of him on every single event! But winning the championship all-American is the best feeling. Knowing he is top 8 in the nation and a record breaker tells me and others that he is special.
