Alijah is naturally competitive. But most of all he has fun while playing football. Alijah can go to the park and put together an entire offense and defense with kids He’s never met before in literally five minutes. For him, it’s about fellowship and fun.
Alijah is inspired by his dad who also played football growing up. Football has been a part of his home since he was born and naturally has grown to love the game. As soon as he became of age, he wanted to play the sport himself. He’s good at any position, but mainly loves to be running back or quarterback.
a moment that made me proud was his very last season in flag football. Throughout the entire season, his team was defeated over and over again, only to come back and win it all in the very last game for the championship ring. He persevered and did not let the previous losses define him. He came out strong and played to win. I’ll never forget the way His eyes were lighting up, holding up the trophy and wearing his ring proud.
