The rink is Amélie's happy place. Skating for her is a blend of grace, control and raw emotion. She loves that each glide tells a story, every jump/trick makes her adrenaline pump. For Amélie, this is not just a sport, it’s a dance on ice, where precision becomes poetry and movement becomes feelings.
My figure skating coach Caitlin inspires me with her unwavering dedication, patience, and passion for figure skating. Her belief in my potential pushes me to work harder every day. She leads by example, demonstrating grace under pressure and teaching me to continue through challenges. With every lesson, she not only improves my technique but also builds my confidence. Her encouragement has shaped not just my skating, but who I am becoming as a person.
There are so many moments in the past 2 years that makes me proud of Amélie, the one that sticks out is that when she fell and was topple on my another skater who was twice her size, she got up and finished her routine with pride and a big smile on her face.
