He truly loves the grind—the early mornings, the sweat, and the sacrifice—because he knows it’s shaping him into something greater. Every day, he’s chasing his dream and inspiring other kids to do the same. He doesn’t just play to win; he plays to lead, to grow, and to prove that anything is possible with heart and hard work.
Amarion is inspired by his dad, who gave up his career to be a stay-at-home dad and train him every day. His dad’s sacrifice, discipline, and belief in Amarion’s dream teach him the true meaning of hard work. Off the court, his mom inspires him with her strength, support, and unconditional love. On the court, Amarion looks up to Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry who has led with humility and relentless effort, knowing greatness is earned through character, consistency, and never giving up.
In a small city without a public basketball gym, Amarion trains daily with relentless self-discipline. His proudest moment came when the Government of Canada recognized him for basketball excellence and being a published author. After 4000 hours in just 3.5 years in the gym, this honor highlights his hard work, leadership, and impact. Amarion’s journey goes beyond the game—it’s about inspiring others and giving back to his community.
