First and foremost he gives all glory to God. Secondly, he inspires himself. Every stat that he puts up as his own challenge to beat. Next it's his father. He always pushes him, challenges, & teaches him life lessons that are metaphors via sports. And lastly he is inspired by his MLB aspirations.
There are many athletic moments in his journey that makes me proud. To lock in on one I would say the very first time that he hit one out of the park at 8 years old. Had just left the ballpark to go and check on my mother when my wife gave me the call that our son just hit his first out of the park home run. We trained on hitting the ball out of the park all week and for all of their hard work to pay off brought me to tears.
