In my eyes what Amelia loves most about the sports ( Softball, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Basketball) she plays is the challenge each one brings and how she can overcome the next obstacle. Everyday she pushes herself harder and harder to be the best Her that she can bring. Also most of all the time she gets to spend with her friends and being able to meet so many new people at the same time.
I would say myself and her mom inspires her both on and off the field/court because we want her to do what she wants to do and not have her feel pressured to do it. We want her to do it for her. I think off the field her 2 younger sisters inspire her because she wants to be a great role model and leader for them!
Every moment of her athletic journey makes me proud, day in and day out watching her progress and get better and better each year. But the one proudest moment thus far was her making Allstars for softball this past year. Watching her excitement and joy in her face when we told her she was selected was the best feeling I’ve felt in quite some time! Love seeing her shine on and off the courts and do what she loves to do. Also seeing her get The Layup Champion award at her first Basketball camp.
