Leanne Wong inspires me as a gymnast because of her dedication not only to gymnastics but to future gymnast and her education. My parents inspire me with how dedicated they are and how hard they work to give my sister and I the best future possible. My mom actually saves lives for a living!
In August of 2024 Ameliah broke her wrist and was out for ~12 weeks. During that time she did not miss a single practice as she wanted to stay strong and be there fornher teammates. She knew that even though she was drastically limited in what she could do, it was still important to her to show up each and every day (16+ hours a week). Some days were hard as she was heart broken not getting to do what she loved, but she pushed through and proved her dedication.
