Join the CompetitionAnderson loves the camaraderie with his teammates and pushing each other to succeed. He also enjoys the personal challenge of pushing himself to perform at his best, and seeing the results of that hard work. He has achieved leadership positions in both baseball, as a pitcher and first basemen, and football, as a linebacker, due to his work ethic and encouragement of his teammates.
Anderson is a big fan of Shohei Ohtani, since he also hopes to one day be a pitcher and homerun hitter. He loves that Ohtani broke the stereotype that pitchers can't hit! He is also inspired by his coaches for his club baseball team because they show that you can have high expectations of your players and still be nice, supportive guys.
Last year Anderson's town baseball team attended the 12 year old tournament in Cooperstown, NY. Anderson was determined before they went that he was going to hit his first homerun during the tournament. Not only did he hit one, he hit two! It was especially impressive since both came against California state all star teams, so these pitchers were serious business.
