Andi is in absolute love with gymnastics. The fierce she has when she steps her feet on the floor to compete is absolutely amazing. She has no fear. The most thing she love about gymnastics is being able to show no fear and get out and compete in front of hundreds of people and show them her very best version of herself. Her favourite is uneven bars. When she has to do new levels, more complicated drills she will put her heart and soul into practicing so she can do it the best she possibly can.
My daughter was most inspired in gymnastics when her favourite show ‘My perfect landing’ aired in 2019, she was 6. Now, she’s doing competitive and she’s inspired by her new coach. He transferred to the small city of Corner Brook in the province of Newfoundland. She’s also inspired by watching others. When it’s not her turn to compete she will sit on the sidelines and watch’s other children compete and she will cheer them on, and is rooting for them to do their best every step of the way.
One moment in her journey that has made her father and I the proudest is this past year. She competed into 3 competitive events this season. In all these events she has gotten several gold, silver and bronze medals in all bars, floor, uneven bars and beam. However, she ended every single gymnastics meet finishing in first overall in her group. Which awarded her ‘Athlete of the year’ at her Saltos Gymnastics Gymnasium this past 2024-2025 season.
