Andie loves being a leader as well as a team player which makes the sport fun. She is a great mentor and lover of the sport. Andie may not always love all the life lessons that come out of any sport, but she takes them in with grace and uses the lessons to her advantage.
Alexis Shelton (OU outside Hitter) has always been a favorite of mine. I have watched her for years lead, even as a young player she plays with a quiet power. Always delivering a great performance, win or lose. She's not a showboat, but demands respect on the court. I aspire to play like Alexis. She's always willing to banter with me and take a quick picture. I want to be a role model for other young athletes like that.
Andie is a friend to all. She will be the first one to make any player feel comfortable, she will always find the athlete that needs a bit more encouragement and give it on or off the court. I'm the most proud of the young lady she is, always finding ways to lead. She is humble and fun natured, always a pleasure to be around. Skies the limit to her in whatever endeavor. #proud mom #1fan
