You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
From the time Andrea started at age 3 to now at 7, sports have felt like joyful and meaningful playdates filled with curiosity, laughter, teamwork, and the excitement of shared dreams. What she loves most is the connection: building friendships, growing together through activities, and learning the spirit of sportsmanship. For Andrea, every practice and game is a chance to grow not just an athlete, but as a person.
Andrea is deeply inspired by her coaches (Coach Julian, Coach Sam, and Coach Sean) as well as her teammates and role model Kaitlyn Chen. She looks up to their positivity, encouragement, hard work, grit, and kindness. Through their example, she’s learned that with effort, teamwork, and a positive attitude, anything is possible both on and off the field. Their belief in her fuels her motivation to keep learning, growing, and giving her best every step of the way.
At the Barstow Karate sparring event back in March of this year, Andrea’s opponent Patricia was visibly nervous and shaking. Andrea gently reassured her that she's going to do great, offering comfort before the match. Afterward, Patricia ran up saying she wanted to be friends because Andrea had been so kind. It was a beautiful moment of compassion, showing Andrea’s genuine heart for others above competition.
