Receive Text UpdatesAndrew loves playing baseball because of the excitement and unpredictability. It’s never over until it’s over, and there’s always a chance to win, even in the final moments. He enjoys the camaraderie of the game and the teamwork it fosters. He loves chess and for him, baseball feels like a game of chess, where every move matters. The strategy, the precision, and the constant adjustments keep him engaged, much like the mental challenges of chess, but with the added thrill of being on the field.
Andrew’s inspiration on and off the field is his parents and family. Their sacrifice and hard work allow him to pursue his love for baseball. Their strong faith in Christ is the anchor and direction for their lives, and it motivates Andrew to work hard, stay grounded, and trust God in all he does.
After many rejections, Andrew finally got the chance to guest play one game for a team he’d dreamed of joining. He played 1st, 3rd, and pitched, turning heads with his performance. Invited back, he pitched 4 strong innings in the championship. Though they lost by 2, the coaches saw his potential and offered him a spot. We were proud he turned setbacks into fuel. Not just to grow, but to prove to himself what we always believed, he has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
