What she likes about playing her sports is that dancing and cheering allows her to be creative, giving her a chance to show what she is capable of. Her sports also allows her to work with a team where she can learn from others and they can learn from her.
The person who inspires her on and off the field is her "little self". With four older brothers who were all about traditional sports like basketball, she chose dance and cheer at a young age. Even with the support, there were still things that we didn't understand about those sports. At a young age she learned to ask questions, practice hard, and give 100% in what she felt she needed to be the best. She always says she works hard for her "little self" who thought she could never be great.
One moment in her athletic journey that makes me proudest was when she took on cheer and dance her Junior year. Both sports take alot of work and dedication. She was so in tune and dedicated with both sports. She would have a long day and would be exhausted, but she still handled her business all around. She kept up with her school work and grades, while continuing to lead as Captain on her cheer team.
