What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Anna loves competing. She has had the amazing opportunity to play with and against some of the best players in the country. She loves the challenege and loves the fight. She is a completely unselfish player who is always equally as happy with the assist versus the goal.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Anna gets her inspiration from her team and her coaches. She strives to be her best self so she can perform for them and with them. They push her to put in the extra work, extra wall ball and extra sprints. They hold each other accountable, but know they are always stronger together.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

This past June I5 she played in her third state title game. This year she was viewed as a major threat and was in a tight face guard 95% of the game. She was not able to run the offense. The game was hard, we were down 5-1 with less than 5 minutes left in the 3Q. With about 4 minutes left after a time out a play was drawn up and she cut across the 8 and scored the game winning goal. She followed that up with winning the next draw to retain possession. It was a huge ending.
