What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Swimming and water polo have opened a whole new world for me. My sports have made it possible for me to travel, meet new people, form close friendships, develop confidence, handle pressure, be resilient, overcome obstacles, and most of all feel grateful. The joy and opportunities that come with pursuing my dreams is the most incredible feeling, but none of this would be possible without my family, my friends, and my coaches' support and guidance.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dad, my mom, & Gretchen Walsh inspire me most. My dad taught me, "If you believe in something, go for it." He leads by example & moved our family across country so I can pursue my dreams. My mom taught me to be independent & always believe in myself. Gretchen Walsh may know me as the girl who took her 8&U 25 Fly record, but she has blazed a path for me. We swam in the same pools in CT, she moved for her sport, she won Olympic medals, & set world records. I hope to do that and more.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Many might think my proudest moment would be a fast time, special win, or top ranking, but my true highlight is a quiet one I’ve never shared. At a meet, my teammate - who had recently lost her father - was struggling to win a ducky and asked me to win one for her. The smile on her face when I gave her the ducky meant more than any medal won or record set. She taught me true victory isn’t just speed—it’s lifting someone up when they need it most.
