You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Anthony loves the adrenaline rush, winning and working as a team with the rest of his team. Football is his favorite by far, he strives to get the hardest tackle, run the fastest and catch the throws that aren't easy. His favorite part of baseball is being centerfield and making the crazy balls that are normally unattainable. Last but not least, his favorite part of basketball is playing point guard.
Anthony is inspired by several different famous athletes but also his coaches who have provided mentorship for years now. His coaches have been an important staple in his sports life and school. They inspire him to be better, work harder and always do the best he can.
One moment that makes me the proudest is his growth in football. He started out in 1st grade and he was emotionally unstable, wouldn't listen and was "that kid". Today, Anthony is a strong player, he runs the fastest, listens hard and gives his all on the field at practice and his games. I can say the same for baseball and basketball. His emotional growth has been beyond measurable and we owe it to the sports world.
