What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Competing with her team and having fun with them!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

“Harriet Tubman inspires me because the way she leads inspires me to lead other people to victory” - Arayah

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Arayah’s proudest moment was making the Level 4 competitive team because she was proud of how far she made it in her gymnastics journey. Her mom was proud of her for pushing through a concern at her last meet of the season, and getting her highest score on beam! She has gotten more confidence on that apparatus and it helps round out her gymnastics abilities.
