Ares is an avid runner. He loves going on hikes and trail running on challenging trails and is always encouraging other kids to do sports.

Ares runs track and cross country (among other sports) and enjoys competing in the latter one because meets take place in parks and mountains. He enjoys being in nature and running the steep hills make his mind and body strong.
Ares said that his dad inspires him to run and to do his best in everything he does. His dad is an avid trail runner and is constantly giving him advice that help Ares in, both, life and sports.
One of the proudest moments was when Ares was competing in a cross country meet and one of the athletes in front of him tripped and fell. He passed him but then went back to help him up. He finished third place. It made me feel proud and warmed my heart.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
