My kid loves basketball since she was a little girl. She’s in seventh grade playing up on JV she has a lot of pressure on her.

She loves waking up and going to work. She loves the game but treats it like her job. She loves training and getting her body and mind fit for battle. She loves competing at a high level and challenging herself to hit new limitations.
Her Dad really is her biggest fan. He pushes her beyond reason, he’s played high level baseball and has friends who have made professional sports. Her mom who works hard to contribute anyway she can. Her brothers really watch her compete and she really wants to be a good role model for them and show them good leadership and responsibility.
She has many milestones throughout the years but one that really sticks out to me is being picked to play JV as a 7th grader. She really works hard and it proves hard work and dedication does payoff.
