Arnes is the oldest of our crew. He is a leader through and through. Son, brother, captain, friend. You name it, Arnes has it!

Getting on that field and just hearing the silence, and just playing. Example: it’s raining and you are driving, and you go under a bridge or tunnel and for that moment it all stops…no rain…just that peace. That’s the peace he feels being on the field. He’s home.
Arnes keeps this part to himself. And I respect that.
The humanity he continues to have. No matter how hard things are, he carries himself with the understanding of never knowing someone’s home life. He isn’t afraid of competition, he works hard and is there to pick you up regardless of what weighs on him. There are so many skills you can have and you can be so athletic but without having understanding for others you will only have so much. So you sit there and look at him growing up and think, “wow I had him at 19, and I couldn’t be prouder”.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
